toyeast shipping?

ok, I'm new, and I was looking at toyeast's prices and MAN they are low...is there some kind of super high shipping charge?
like all mail order deals the more you buy the cheaper the shipping per item. i think the minimum shipping is $17 us for surface mail.
on a related topic i discovered why some orders take 10 days and some take a couple of months. i usually pick surface mail and so far all my orders arrived in 10 days. but the last 2 i did were large and i've been waiting 6 weeks. i contacted te and asked if the shipping method had changed as they quoted me 1 - 2 months delivery when usually they say 12 - 14 days. so what happens is sometimes if an order is small enough, there's enough shipping money available to upgrade the shipping to air mail. so these big orders are coming via genuine surface mail this time and previous orders were light enough to be bumped up to airmail. hopefully this explains the deal.
