Not to stray from the subject.... I'll probly be wantin' one of those Citroens before too long... but, did you adjust the roof height on the Veedub? I was going to say something in your build-up thread, but I didn't because I know you have a good eye.... the Veedub is lookin' proper, j.

That's nice work for your first casting. Looks like it came out really clean.

Ya know if you're gonna be able to do them in clear?

I'm for $2.19!!!! :???:

How long does it take to mold one? Judge your price by that.

For example........

Hour of your Time=$219.19

Product material=$12.19

S&H to all corners of the Globe=$19.19

An hour of your time + Product material + S&H = $????.?? (priceless)

i was thinking along those lines aswell, so lets let that be that 10 bucks shipped with-in the usa, but let it be known please, that this was a scratch built so the copy has eregularities, its not perfect but sure is a great body to have!

Nice looking cast.

If you haven't ordered it already I'd advise not picking up any clear resin unless you are using a pressure pot. If you're not you'll end up with a bunch of bubbles in the cast.

If the desire is to have clear windows I would suggest modifying one of the copies by removing the windows then repouring either the male or female portion of the mold. You'll have a windowless body and it should be easy to make up some wndows out of clear plastic sheet stock.

...and then there's making up a mold to use for vacu-forming complete windshields....but we'll hold off on that for now :)

thanks canabits i was yhinking about doing the repouring of the female side of the mold without windows in the citroen, and i am already starting to do some reading up on this vac form, looks easy enough, i will be getting into this eventually. thanks again
