Another n00b question!

General discussions, new info, and all stuff that's how you say, off the hook. Bit, ZZ, SE, MT, SS... as long as it's micro, it's here.

Another n00b question!

Post by synj »

OK, I only own Zipzaps and Microworks mini rc cars.
shocker, i know.
And, after finding out how cheap bits are,
i was wondering which 'one' would you say is best?
LXX perfection?
Bit - char g
Super bit - char g
I dont know if that is all of them, but im a n00b with
bit - char g and other cars like that from Toyeast

And another question...
should i get this? its only 23 more cents than a set of 1

Wow, that really is a newbie question isn't it?

Well here's a generalized breakdown, Bit Char-G, the original, good quality. Super Bit Char-G, second generation bit, it's been improved, but has an annoying glitch, I don't reccomend them. LXX/Perfection, bit clones. They have some unique features, but spotty quality control.

There's no real "best", but Tomy has better quality control, so you're less likely to get a lemon.

You left out Microsizers, which are the US version of bit char-G. They come in 27 or 49 mhz. Worth mentioning because you can get them at Toys R Us instead of having them shipped from Hong Kong. A mosfetted single-speed 49mhz Microsizer is still my favorite chassis.

man, those coin battle sets are the best value ever! i'd buy 2 sets, and get some cool shells. they're single speed, but you just won't get those chassis' that cheap.
i used to be cool

Yeah, and Sessiz says that the women actually think they're cool. Maybe I should get a couple. :???:

Toyeast shipping varies, by weight and destination. It probably wont help you much, but I'll tell ya, it costs me about 8 bucks when I order one car and a pile of motors.
