witch is better , tomys lap timer or rat shacks ?

i have curently have 2 tracks and im in need of a lap timer . how dose the rat shack version compare to the tomy version ? ive never used ither so i dont have any ideas to witch is better . input would be appreciated , matt .

I never tried RS's, but Tomy's basically sucks. It seems like anything faster than a 2.6 motor will make the car too to register everytime, and light colored cars don't seem to work very well.

I want to like it, but it's never worked for me.

They work off the same principles so the best one would be the least expensive one. Hear Hear :cool:

thanks for the info guys . sounds like i'll be looking for a radio shack lap timer , as i can get it at rs witch wound make it cheaper than haveing a tommy or ms lap timer shiped . plus i have a few fast cars and am alway trying to build more so the tommy timer would have a hard time , plus i found out the zz times dose speed .
