General discussions, new info, and all stuff that's how you say, off the hook. Bit, ZZ, SE, MT, SS... as long as it's micro, it's here.

Auto Modellista vs Nissan Fairlady Z

Post by CaboWabo »

I picked up one of the new MS Pro Auto Modellista sets today.
It's pretty cool, kinda noisey. In boost mode with the stock 2.2 it came with it's nice, un-boosted it's a bit too slow.
Compared to Tomy's Nissan Fairlady Z... it's not as good in my opinion - I love my Fairlady.
Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

man, i just got a ms sport today, one-o them smoke colored ones. Looks horrible but hey, its the best running chassis i have now. Its freaking noisy though. Maybe i'm just crazy but it seems like MS's are louder than bits. Makes no sense though. I want a fairlady so bad it's not even funny. Anyone willin to sell me one? :D

yes! the fish has his rightful name back! thanks cabo!

every ms chassis ive owned was mechanically quiet and steers great. my problems with them are horrible motors and crap reception. thats where clones come into play.

I have to agree with most of what's being said here. My MS Pro is not very impressive. Noisy gears, bad steering, and it squeaks. I've had to grease all the axles to quiet it, but it is faster than my LXX Modellista. The MS Sports I've had both had monster torque, and are good cars, but have noisy gears, and one has the same steering issues as my Pro.

I'm guessing Hogjowls is talking about the original Microsizers, and by this point I'm assuming they are higher quality that the Microsizers being put out now, if they're anything like my Bit Char-G. Which is my only car that doesn't have any issues.

I'm thinking I need to get a Fairlady Z.
