I have info on motor/gear ratings and ideas for competition
Want to know if you're the pimp of pimps, slow as a snail, or meeting
regulations for a restricted race? Well, this chart is for you. Every
known engine is already punched in, and additional engines can be
calculated for performance with the math below. The equasion is based
on Microsizers performance ratings and if the ratings they give are
inaccurate, the equasion can be updated to real specs if necessary.
Math for dyno test: Rx10000/G=WRPM/6.77=FPMx60=FPH/5280=MPHx64=SMPH

AML SUGGESTED REGULATIONS FOR RESTRICTED COMPETITION:
Note: Names and reg's are based on MPH for GT series, there are no
restrictions on body, suspension, heatsink, or tires on any race
series. There may have to be restrictions on battery type in the
future unless all cars are restricted to the same charge times.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
"ONE MAKE" Is a competition of wits and skill, restricting all engine/
gear combinations to match from car to car. For example, if
the competition calls for a 1.0 motor and 12:1 gears, all cars
must meet that criteria to participate. This can also apply to
MOSFET, DUAL CELL, and DUAL MOTOR modified cars to keep things fair and competitive.
(a)"GT-300" Is a stage I competition class for standard range
performance, limiting motor/gear combination to a speed range
of 3.00 MPH to 3.99 MPH. The following combinations are
eligible for this series: 1.6H, 2.2L, 2.2M, 2.6L, and 2.8L.
Novice hobbyists are suggested for this race series.
(b)"GT-400" Is a stage II competition class for enhanced range
performance, limiting motor/gear combination to a speed range
of 4.00 MPH to 4.99 MPH. The following combinations are
eligible for this series: 2.2H, 2.6M, 2.8M, 3.0L, and 3.4L.
Average hobbyists are suggested for this race series.
(c)"GT-500" Is a stage III competition class for high range
performance, limiting motor/gear combination to a speed range
of 5.00 MPH to 5.99 MPH. The following combinations are
eligible for this series: 2.6H, 2.8H, 3.0M, 3.4M, 3.8L,
and 4.2L. Expert hobbyists are suggested for this race series.
"UNLIMITED GT" Is a competition for all comers and all skill levels,
though pros are best in this category. Any combination of
parts is allowed here, from batteries, tires, wheels, bodies,
heatsinks, motors, gears, suspension, chips, and dual setups.

...Sorry, the whitty banter that goes here listened to Richard Simmons' Sweatin' to Books on Tape until it died. Its biting sarcasm will be missed.
