Finally...A chassis fitting of the Jeep ZZ shell

I picked up a ZZ Bigfoot monster truck today. I had some fun swapping my other ZZ shells onto the chassis.
The Jeep Wrangler looks so much better like this, don't you think?
This chassis even makes the F150 look good:
Monster Ralley Car:
My opinion of the monster truck in the short time I have messed with it is that it is a hell of a lot of fun and well built as far as ZZ's are concerned.
Question for richh...Are you using the stock motor in the video of the Spiderman Hummer? If so, my Bigfoot monster seems to be a bit slower than yours. My truck will pop wheelies, but not enough to end up on its tail-end like the truck in your video.

That F150 is pimping, I'm liking that, but the jeep is alright.

They all look pretty cool on that chassis. I especially like the F-150

yup, stock motor and gearing. what surface are you running it on? that may be the difference.

my truck starts to lift with the stock motor but not a lot. With the orange motor and gears, it wheelies and spins

Mine does the same with the stock motor. The front end pops a short wheelie, but not a alot. Does yours seem pretty slow with the stock motor? Mine has plenty of torque to climb whatever I have thrown at it, but it seems a little slow compared to the vids I have seen by richh.

Yeah - a little slow stock (green) but decent torque - but flies (for a truck) with the orange motor. If thats richh's stock motor, I got ripped off. My truck runs like that with the orange.

That's what I was thinking. I've also noticed that the rear wheels seem to push the truck a bit on my rug, making the turning radius quite a bit wider. However, it doesn't seem to do that on the wood floor. I suppose its a side effect of the 4wd and the front tires losing traction on the rug.
BTW....how long does it take to charge yours. Mine seems to have a shorter charge time compared to my other ZZ's. I thought the dual cell would create a longer charge time.

now that you mention it, I also noticed a larger turn radius on my rug as opposed to my tile floor. Not sure about the charge time. Have to check that later.
And can you still do multiple charges? The manual warns against overcharging as usual.

The manual also states you should run the truck on only on smooth surfaces and not to run it outside. We have already seen that neither is necessarily the case.

That WRX is part of the Hitari Mean Speed Machines set. As far as i know, these sets are only sold in the UK by a place called Argos. I picked mine up on Ebay cheap. It comes with one chassis, controller, batteries, two sets of hubcaps, extra motors and gears.
Check out this thread if you want to know more and see some photos:

I got a feelin these motors might make a good bit motor. They may be a little heavy though. We'll have to see.
I wish these things would hurry up and make it to the stores in VA.
Radio shack, if you're watchin, get them thangs hur already! I'm tired of waiting. And while you're at it, get that darn corvette body set and monster car upgrades hur too. I've got a million Radio shacks in my area, and none of them have these. I've been patient, but if they don't get here soon, there's gonna be a stick-up! Just playin. But due get them hur please.
