First mod I did, before I ever put wheels on it, trim the steering knuckles.

There was just way to much unneccesary knuckle hanging out the bottom.

You can see the difference in this pic.

It still functions normal, and there's almost nothing left to hang up on.

Second mod, wipe out those Spiderman graphics. So take one last look.

Now it's silver.

Next mod, I'm gonna swap the steering motor, but I'm gonna play with it, alot, first.

...Oh and kickass on the paintjob dude, you just transformed a calcified turd with blue streaks into a mean lookin hummer (or is that supposed to be the 'military' version, and hence called a Humvee . :???: )

Yeah, it went trim steering knuckles, finish putting car together, drive for a hour or so, decide I like and it's time to ditch Spidey.

This one I think actually does look more like the military Hummer. The Spidey one on the trading card, is like a military Hummer, but it's all paneled over, and I'd be willing to bet it was fabricated. It looks pretty badass, if this looked like that I would have maybe left it, but this one looks to be a H1 or HumVee or whatever, but it's not all smoothed over, so it needed to be it own truck.

...and hell yeah I'm lovin' it. I was showing the terrain it was eating up in the what sucks about the MT thread.

Just thinking and umm does anybody know what the driveshaft is made of? If it's the smae material as Xmod driveshafts do You think people will start selling carbon fiber driveshafts, and for everybody who broke their xmod steering knuckles and replaced them with metal ones or whatever do You think Radioshack will make metal ones to replace the plastic knuckles in the MT's, also seeing that some people (not me), like RWD only and not AWD, do Ya'll think it is possible to just take out the drivesaft so the AWD feature doesn't work. Just some thoughts.... :???:

No I do not think RS will ever make metal steering knuckles for these, as these are not designed to be disassembled by the user as the Xmod is, also RS is not the one that makes the alloy knuckles for the Xmods. So I'd have to say you're daydreaming on that one.

lipo's no no at ratshack, and you can just hook them up, but need disconnects. they aer not the easyest to charge, you can get these for 10 dollers MAX. BUT you need a charger, a good one to those can be like 15 and up//
