here's the latest. i redid the way the tricell fits. the way i had it before (3 pack underneath the pcb) didn't really fit to well. the third cell gets in the way of the steering arm, plus with the batts standing up, the pcb sat too high. so now i have two under the pcb with one on top. i'm pretty sure i will be able to get the h2 body to fit, don't know about the others.

also you can see the paper washers i put on the idler to fix the screeching noise that i got with the higher rpm motors.

ask and yee shall receive... this one goes under the category of "stupid monster tricks". i put on a music wire antenna on and now my tricell can pick himself up after a fall.

Yeah, check in my thread about the ZipZaps Catalog mang.

The frontpage of the Catalog is pre-setup so that as soon as shit is posted by RatShack, it'll show on the page.

i like the capacity of the bigger cells. if i stop running it it is because i'm bored or need to do something else, and never because the batts died. i'll turn it back on latter in the day and it still has plenty of charge.

the paper shims takes up some of the slack, but not all. there's still some play in the main axle side to side. the paper still looks like it did when i put it on (no signs of wear) so if it is rubbing, it isn't much. it's probably introducing some drag, but i couldn't stand the screeching.

wheelie bar time. raided the kids toybox again to get the wheels. couldn't find anything smaller though. thinking about making a roll cage thingy out of the same material to complete the look.

That looks pretty damn cool. What is it made of? It looks like one of those metal ink refills from a pen.

Great idea. Will do a mod like that on my second MT, that way I will have one to spin weelies on, and one to plow over all!
