I found this on HLJ's web site. Any body know what "aero r/c" is? It looks like it's gonna be r/c cars, but there is no other information on it.

Here's all they say about it.

Product Overview: This item is a injection plastic and metal radio or remote-controlled car model kit. It requires both cement and painting to complete or use.

I recognize the cars from when I was over there. The Toyota Hi-Ace is a van, and there a bunch of compact cars too as well as other things. It's got my curiosity.

Oh-well, it's probably gonna be crap anyways. It may not even be micro scale. It requires cement and paint to finish puting it together.

Hey bro, I saw that too. I googled "tomy aero rc" and came up with zilch. I'm not too excited based on the price alone. HLJ ain't usually very cheap, and for a Tomy car to only cost $13, it must be toddler material.

Ironically, I agree with both of you. I gues we'll just have to be patient.

Think of it this way; on a Bit Char-g the bodies are about 50 cents of molded plastic, the electronics cost $5 in total, and the instructions cost them another 50 cents. It's the assembly thats costly.

The electronics are probably less than a dollar after bulk supplies are bought. It's marketing. They'll sell it for what people will buy it for.

and the bodies are about 3 cents worth of plastic. of course the molds cost thousands to make.
