Nice video! That's got me all excited to go outside with mine, but's raining. (again :( )

Do I dare go mud bogging? :???:
You guys got me scared to take the front end apart.

I've been thinking about chopping the top on my Jeep and adding a roll cage, but that convinced me. Since it's been done now, I might keep a bikini top to be different.

Those cars were FET modded weren't they?

dude everything in au is either so venomous that it could kill an elephant with a thyroid problem or it is fetted.

on a lighter note i finally got Biffy Turbo hooked up to my mt pcb(thanks to ph2t of course) and holy sheepshit does that thing have a lot of torque.

lucky the picture quality aint good or you might see the butchered hack job on that jeep body! it's an "in progress shell"

i aint got no fets yet, i wanna try and use a 2 speed pcb with twin biffs.

Yeah, I wanna know if I can convert the steering on the Panther Chariot PCB to an H-bridge, so it can drive the steering motor, and have a 3 step throttle.

thanks for the props fellas.

Dave, my zzmt was fetted, with 3.7V lipo, running green motor, orange gears.

Betty's was stock, 2.4V nimh, running yellow motor, yellow gears.

On a flat straight I'm a tiny bit faster than him. I HAD to go green motor, everything else just caused flipping off the mark!

Yeah, I'll be busting busting out a new design for Biff just cause of this chassis, just waiting on the parts....

This 3 speed panther setup intrigues me man, got any other info?

Yes, you need a Biff (or portable h-bridge) to turn the traditional steering switching circuit into a h-bridge capable of running the steering motor.

cheers,

nah, but if I were to, I would put in a gay slow motor, just to stop the bugger from flipping an concrete from turning too much too quickly.....

I have my steering partially FET modded. I haven't spent the time to figure out the right way, but it did make a semi improvement steering on carpet.

I was gonna do some modding today, maybe I will swap my motor.

Ph2t, the Panther has standard bit steering. Would it be possible to use the 2 existing spots on the board, and just glue 2 more FETs to a small piece of plastic and just have those hanging off? Or would it be simpler to just just make an independent h-bridge.

Also, schematics give me a headache. Any chance of you making me up a little chart on how to wire up an independent h-bridge, and how I'd connect it to the PCB?

It would be really cool if I could make that PCB work. I still have to FET mod it, though it gets good torque stock, and I think proportional throttle would really help these trucks out.

Azimov had hooked me up with one to show no hard feelings about that little squabble we got into a while back. He's a cool guy, and that was really cool of him, but I haven't said much about it, because I don't feel like I did much to deserve it.
