I would like to see the cars sold by themselves also. I don't want the track. In fact I don't even want the shell. I just want the PCB inside the car. I would love to put it in a bit if possible.

It's funny that you found the cars separate. I emailed the company that makes them and they told me that the cars are not avalible separate.

What a bunch of asses!! They don't even know their own product line.

Whats $25 AUS is good 'ol US GreenBacks? I might have you pick one of those up for me sometime soon.

I just got back from Wal-Mart and for $8.99CAN I grabbed one. Definitely not the best money I've spent.

Car is tank style steering with hard plastic front wheels (soft tires wouldn't let the front end slide when it turns). Rear tires are not bad...fairly soft rubber with a block tread pattern. Mine seems to have poor response and throttle input is met with some serious lag before the car shoots off. Sort of reminds me of the problems I had with my Super Bit when it got out of range. I'll try to get a few shots taken and post them later...along with a more 'in depth' review.

Oh yeah,

Batteries: 4 AAA for the controller, 2 AA for the charger

Might wanna save the bills on these.

Positive. A couple quick shots... XTREK II

The 'digital proportional' steering looks to be varying the power going to either the left or right wheel enabling various turning radius.
