General discussions, new info, and all stuff that's how you say, off the hook. Bit, ZZ, SE, MT, SS... as long as it's micro, it's here.

zip zap vrs. bit charg and some q's

Post by backdrift »

i would really like to know the diffrence between the two.. its a very noob question, im new to zip zaps and all but ive been with xmods and mini-z's for a while.. these little cars are a lot of fun to drive around, i tested my zip zaps SE on my speedchecker and it does 14kmh per hour which is like 6.5mph. not bad for the size of the car, also; does modding the fet's on these cars give u more topend or just torque? thanks

im pretty sure the Zips are a little longer. They have a Bigger PCB, but there also easyer to find. im not sure about a fet mod, but i think it might give a little topend and some tourqe. :-)

oh man, there's a bunch of info floating around here about that.
I'm sure it's still up for debate and preference, but one of the obvious differences is that bits are smaller than zips.

mosfet mod will add both torque and top-end especially depending on your setup (motor, gears, etc.)
there's plenty of that info floating around here as well.
Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.
