Cherry Got Busted Last Night

Post by DarkTari »

Well Pimp's, I've been modd'n for about 3 years now. I hear the X-Acto horror stories but have never experienced. Well last night, all because I kept looking at a project I finished a couple weeks ago and decided I needed to raise the azz a bit. Well being careless I went through my middle finger like butter (Yeeouch). I found that if I hold that finger up it doesn't hurt so today everbody gets the "Fly Fickle Finger of Fate" :thebird:

Ouchie! Me and a friend were helping his dad load a couch on a truck, we went to put the couch on the forlift, it dropped and pinched his fingers. All the tips were hanging on by skin, now today he can wobble them all around to no end, but they work!

Cabo has seen me do that on numerous occasions, and seal it up almost as quick with some crazy glue.

Too late for you to glue it, but for future reference, you need to clean it, and have it glued within 10 min after cutting it.

The pain comes from air, and germs hitting it, and the stress on the meat. If you can get it glued within the 10 min mark, it's like you never even cut it. no pain, no nothing. :-)

I will testify to seeing him glue his shit shut.
Seems to work for him, I've never tried it - just seems to un-natural for me to do.
Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

I've done the super glue trick, but this last time was different. It was like a little cut no wider than a 1/4", but that's teh approximate width of an Exacto blade, and it went straight in to my finger tip. So you get an ide how deep it went. That why I lost feeling in my finger tip for a while. Now it's still kinda tingly, like when your foot falls asleep. Sucks, I don't like it.

Sorry about the Ol' George Forman grill there DT, but I don't think that my fault... at least I don't remember spreading no burn mojo around. :???:

Super glue as a wound treatment is for real:

http://web.mit.edu/invent/iow/coover.html

"During the Vietnam War, it became apparent that cyanoacrylates could be used to treat war wounds. Field surgeons began using the substance by spraying it over open wounds, which stopped bleeding instantly and allowed hurt soldiers to be transported to medical facilities for conventional treatment. This saved many lives during the war and lead to the eventual approval by the FDA of cyanoacrylates for certain medical uses. Some of these include rejoining veins and arteries during surgery, sealing bleeding ulcers, punctures or lesions, stopping uncontrollable bleeding of some soft organs, and use during dental surgery."

just stop doing anything dt! you're running outta fingers!

superglue is used extensively in aus hospitals, mainly in children's hospitals for sealing up wounds. i had a hernia op when i was a little feller and i was sealed up with no stitches (maybe that's why i can't put on weight, i'm leaking! :-D )
i used to be cool
