New Shen Pros?

I just bought a shen on vactation from KB Toys. The tires are slick, but are very grippy, and the car rules the carpet. The battery is 80 mah and its very punchy, it will do a reverse-forward wheelie stock. The motor looks like a zipzaps stock 2.1 motor, and the car runs great. Maybe they improved them?

Perhaps you got one of the new ones... what kind of shell does it have, one of the typical old Shen shells or one of the new super bit clone ones?

Yeah that's right... DT dropped the dime on these weeks ago... we've just been waiting for them to surface somewhere...

my local toyshop has some new shens that have cool metallic bodies. i'll try to get a pic.

Those motors are the pink endbell 3.0 that Hogjowls loves. They're great with dual cells, very punchy, but don't get much improvement from FETs, they're already punchy.

Those 80mah batteries, they blue NiCds? If so, those my favorites. They kick ass.

I might just have to drop by KB tomorrow.

It was green, and it didnt look like any cell id seen before Dave...its a skyline or which ever one that has the giant wing, it has a familiar paint scheme to it too. ill take it apart when i get home and try to get a shot of the battery. I dont know much about it, but it was only 7.99 + tax.
