I imagine this is a little slow off the block for you pimps but just got my delivery from toyeast today
. As well as some Mini F1 cars (dirt cheap but after 5 minutes play not too good
), I got my hands on a microsizers pro(as they're not avaliable in the UK)....Wow the turbo button makes using a 3.0 or 3.8 motor a real proporsition for racing.. (ie can get around corners without flipping).Got a 49mhz, what other frequencies besides 27 do they come in ??(trying to get as many cars on my circuit as possible) Although I should let my mates drive my superbits with 2.2 motors in & I'll thrash the pants off them with my pro with 3.8

If I'm right, I'm pretty sure microsizers sport/pro's come only in 49 mhz and 27 mhz, You'd probably have to do a PCB swap on some of them to get different freqs. I maybe wrong???

Yeah, Microsizers only in those 2 frequencies. That's Amercan Microsizers, not sure the origin of Toyeast's.
Bit Char-G, and LXX/Perfection booster cars are in other frequencies.

You can get Tomy bitChar-G boost cars in all the jap freqs (27, 35, 45, 57), which are pretty much the same thing. PCB swap won't solve the problem, since that's where the boost/turbo thang lives.
If you like the boost cars, I recommend checking out Crazy Dave's tutorial on modifying the controller with a resistor to invert the turbo button function (the controller normally operates in "turbo" mode, and pushing the button cuts it to half-speed). I find it much better for racing.

Euro microsizers also come in 40mhz.

I think I'm with you there as I've been practicing & without boost the car's a little slow off the mark for the first few seconds....right off to tutorials then.. Thanks for the advice

Are the Microsizer speed sets w/out the controller boost cars...I was wondering about that because my black EVO is from the speed set, and I've been using a panther controller and wasn't sure if it is boostable if I used a controller from a Pro microsizer.
