Aight, so I've got 1 zipzap - I don't wanna buy anymore.
Should I leave it as is or modify it?
That's what I thought, modify it....
So, my next question is:
What do you think the best mod is to do to this zipzap using spare bit parts?

I'm so skeptical of ZZ's and I only own one... I almost feel like its a waste putting pullbacks on the ZZ when one of my bits could be scuffin up those new shoes! lol
So more power. Dual cell?
should I bother trying to swap the PCB?

which one did you buy?
I heard the X-men's version had a better PCB, or some fix, (more power) vs all the others.

ZZ's are what i like the best so far anyways. I like the longer wheelbase and the bodies i think look nicer(more accurate). Only negative is the lack of additional body styles. Everything else thats for a bit pretty much works the same in a zip. I got 3 working Zips, 1 ms sport, and 2 working clones ( shen, fit racer). I really loved the ms sport , until i did the pcb swap into my ZZ ( i had an original pre xmas ZZ which was very slow an dwould not run faster motors). Now not only is it a odd freq (40mhz) but if moved around very nicely and after the dualcell i just did its awesome.

Start with a dual cell. A swap is somewhat a waste and unecessary. Pullback treads would be nice but not really needed with zips, I think the control is great on the cars, but then again pullback treads would only help.

yeah what sess says... lol
if the PCB is that much betta than it's pointless i guess, i did it cause i had a crappy gen 1 ZZ

man you guys are bad influences on me. now i have "the damn itch" and feel gravitated to radioshack today. i think im gona have to bust out a tricell zip and make the worlds first ever jbwelded rear end on a zipzap. i mostly blame sessiz for sending me the damn video of his 350z. i had the first gen zipzap and it was a steaming pile.
speaking of jbweld i refined my process for making rear ends run sick last night. ill detail that in another thread.
