Interesting, that's one of the easier approaches I've seen.
How well does it work? Does it require a lot of pressure to make it flex?

it works great with a body on it. before when you would go the roads when you hit the turbo button it would bounce around like crazy bt now it will still on course. You know those metal guages that have a bunch of different thickness strips of metal in it. well i had oneof those and that is what i used for the suspension. i think it is like .012 thickness.

Hmmm, you're giving me ideas.
That does look clean, and easy. The gap guages are a good idea. I was just thinking if it was attached with screws, you could swith thicknesses, to tune to your track.

i thought about using screws but there is allready not alot of ground clearance and the screws may cause a problem.
Dont forget you need to cut a notch in the chassis to allow for the metal to go up and down

you could probably jack a nice one out of an older matchbox car. they have something similar that flexes to hold the axles in.
