It looks like Radio Shack has been taken over by clueless nerd aliens, first a lightless non-SE Herby and now a rapin & rollin Escalade, what’s next the Barney mobile?
How many repetitions before someone starts stomping just to get it to shut-up? I’m voting for three, one might be a novelty, two funny, but three is definitely going to start getting repetitive.
It would be different if you could turn it on and off with a button on the controller and program it with the tune of your choice. The ability to hit a customized victory tune as you pas someone or when your car crosses the finish line would be worth money.

Yeah it needs a MP3 player input so you could store your own tune on there...
... hey wait, what am I saying. Screw lights. Screw little music players, I want a car build especially for racing. Lightweight bodies, good speed, etc. Get a clue Radio Shack.

I saw the body top in RS yesterday in VT (robotics camp up there), and I might just need it with some blinged wheels for my MT...

Doing a little backpedaling here; I went to the Shack today and saw the Escalade, I was under the impression that the Bob Hope Special was the next ready set not just a $14.99 two car body kit, so I had to adjust my thinking.
As a body kit it’s still kind of cheesy with poor finish quality, but doesn’t look bad on a ZZMT and could have some modification possibilities. So even though it’s not my thing I’m glad they are at least coming out with more bodies and trying new things. I almost bought one just to dissect since I have some uber small 4x3x1.5mm micro switches that would be easy enough to glue under the rear bumper for a quick on/off sound control switch.
The problem was that I was sitting there looking at the N2o Saleen Focus parked in my Ford dealer neighbor’s driveway and thinking that it might not make a bad SE, when I got slammed with that viscous rumor. Am happy to see that it’s was a mistake, after all they fixed the steering and even though the Corvette bodies aren’t perfect the detail is a major improvement over the RX8, GT40, or even the Shelby’s stubby half finished look, maybe thay can continue the upward trend. A little competition might be useful, I’d like to see the X-trek Pro’s, and isn’t it about time for a 6 band fully proportional Bit, now that would make my day.

Oh, well, see ir its a body set that's not so bad, but $14.99 for a couple musical bodies still aint my cup of tea.
