Yet another Goodwill score

Hey everybody, great to be back. At least for a sec. Then I gotta get up outta here again...

Check it: My brother found another big score over at one of Salem, OR's Goodwill Surplus stores. And this time, it's fucking BIG. I didn't think he'd score this this big on a find, but hot damn he did it. Here's the details:

-3 working Bit clones(probably Panther), one is a tank, one is a white/blue RX7 that I wanted before I ever got my first Bit, the other is a Honda Accord wagon.

(I missed out on getting the extra track for the following, but with any luck, in a week the same Goodwill might still have it)
-A ZipZaps (non SE, unfortunately)collection consisting of several wheel caps, tires, several of all three gearing types, race track interlocks(those wierd orange things), several motors (2 yellow, 2 red, 3 green, 1 blue, 1 orange- I'll be giving him my other orange and my 3.4 purple NX soon enough), complete controls and chassis on 27 and 49 mhz, cards, catalog, and several bodies(red mustang, yellow civic, blue civic, and F&F red RX7, orange Supra, and green eclipse. The whole thing also includes a ZZ kit case to fit everything, and it does just that, and then some.

Whoever gave that ZZ shit up had a pretty serious setup going, probably north of $75 invested, and my bro got it for maybe $2. So basically, my bro made a fucking killing this time, although the ZZ find earlier this year wasn't half bad in comparison.

Any thoughs/comments?

Late.

I wish your Goodwill was by me. There are very few toys at all in mine. What toys they have are mostly broken baby toys that they're practically asking full retail for. ($10 for an old EZ Bake oven, I think that's about what we bought our kid a new one for) I don't how people find deals in these places, because the Salvation Army up the road aint much better. Check this shit out. You know those cheap ass particale board entertainment centers you get at Walmart for like $50? They wanted $40 for one that was water warped on the bottom, and had a broken shelf. You know those old green screen monitors? $350. $150 for a broken turntable. I think someone in these places is on crack.

Fucking god damn right, somebody is on crack if they're charging ya that much for old shit(maybe not the turntable, I've seen ones that would be worth $150 if they were broken, but they are high end shit-it's my other hobby). The prices that they are asking are fuckin' bullshit. I wonder if you have any Goodwill Surplus stores, as opposed to the upscale Superstores? That's where the shit is, if you can find it.

Those prices are really fucked up. Over here in Salem, that shit would cost next to nothing, the entertainment center might cost $10 at the most, and the green screen monitor would cost $15 if it isn't already headed for the trash.

God only knows what they'd charge for an old McDonald's toy

Well I don't know about all the "Superstore" nonsense, but these stores definately aint super. Hole in the wall strip mall spots. They smell funny, kinda musty.

They got tons and tons of clothes, and a guess good deals on them, that's why my wife is always dragging me in there.

Oh no, he's not the only one that seen them. Quite a few of us know what they'd charge for an old McDonalds toy. 50 cent, to be exact. $2 for the Beenie Baby ones.

Hehe, remind me not to go to Phoenix anytime soon, eh? Any goodwill surplus that does not sell by weight unless the items are special(oversized or otherwise) isn't worth the trouble, it's a fucking ripoff, IMO...
