Guys sorry if this question has been asked a million times...but being a newbie i guess i need a lesson learned....

I got a bit comin in soon and i am planning on gettin another one should i get a ZipZap or a bit? and Which one is actually better....

secondly i saw some bodies with added wings, and spoilers, and even lowering kits, i read about how to lower ur chassis i still dont understand it, and could u use putty to scalp out a whole body? for example if i wanted to make a Carrera GT 2 (fav car) how are these things possible....

i saw some tutorials but maybe a direct answer would help me betta.....

Sicilians out......holla

bits are smaller zip are bigger. two types of zips: full propo(ZZ SE), none propo (ZZ). But all are good if you ask me :-)

much easier to understand once you'll get one in your hand.
you can cut slots on the body higher or move tabs on the chassis lower(look at the car). as for other, recycled plastic cut to shape + putty to smooth it out. sand, sand, paint.
i hope you like to read, 'cause there are lots of things you can pick around here. just search.
BTW, welcome.

Personally I like Bits & clones better as a whole. I have a hella lotta ZZ's too, their bodies have a lot of detail, full size wheelz all around, room to do an easy dualB, variety (SE, ZZMT, Standard) and a lot more American Muscle. I suggest not choosing and get both then you can make up your own mind.

Bit exclusive guy here. And mostly Tomy. But my bias has probably more to do with my hate for RS than anything else. :x I temporarily went insane long enough to go in to a Shack and get an XMod once. Went back a day later to return it too. Haven't been back since. And I live within stone's throw of the freakin corporate headquarters.

Back on track, I would say if you're just starting out, avoid clones of Bits. There are some good one's, but it's too hit or miss for a noob as far as I'm concerned. No sense in getting frustrated with crappy equipment right out of the gate.
