Not quite 3 inches long, this tiny BMW M3 is the hit of the office. Even at
this size, it boasts true proportional steering for precise handling. The
car’s docking station/storage case plugs into AC power, to keep it
charged and ready for action. Remote controller uses 4 AAA cells
(included). Choose White or Silver (different channels allow racing fun).
Size of a ZipZap, Proportional Steering, AC charging base/case.
Now before you noobs and others go off and...."
I gotta have one of them!" ,
"I'm ordering mine today", I'll get one for Xmas", maybe you better
check out the website 1st........

is'nt that a Metal-Tech Car? Looks like it says Metal-Tech on the side of the case?
I did not think they were selling them on the public market yet but the price sound about right. (they said they were going to be about $70 to $80 bucks.
I would love to have a Metal Tech car but for that price its not in the cards right now....

Can't quite remember how much I paid, it's nearly a year now...Got them from Team Bonzer who kindly got Ken at XXaps to send them from china as a sample. I think I paid about £45 each (about $85). I never did get the hang of that awful controller but the chassis is great . If they ever appear I hope they also do a trigger and wheel controller as well. I'm considering converting a controller to trigger and wheel myself.

Is it full proportional or stepped like the ZZse's? For 85$ i would assume full.

Been bidding on this one since last month, but i didn't win it, he gave me a "second chance offer" and i took it, $36 shipped to Canada, with insurance. Now i talked with him, and asked if he had another one, for you pimps, he said he MIGHT, i will tell you all if he does, only problem is he might only have one.

$36 now that's a bargin...Tell me what you think of the controller (you'll hate it but you'll love the proportionality & the chassis is a work of art)

Yeah can't wait to get it, how do you plan on changing the controller? If it was a "regular" style controller, that would be amazing.
Yeah it is a bargain, and one of you guys might be able to get the same price!

I was planning to fit the internals of one of the two controllers I have(I have 2 cars) into a trigger and wheel controller

It looks a shade bigger than the ZZSE.
I might get one as soon as the price comes down. It looks much nicer than other 1:64 cars, but I might get the X-trek Pro instead. It's supposed to be very fast.
Of course, if I ever finish it, my custom-made 1:64 car shall rule them all. (ZZMT orange motor + "bit racer" style gearing + LiPo battery = VERY fast.)

Dude, hang out for the XTrek pro. You will get a lot more fun out of it.
As an owner of both the Xtrek Pro and Metl Tech, I am happy to say that the metal tech is a real peice of quality work, however it isnt much fun to drive because of the controller and the lag in response.
The XTRek beats the MT for speed and responsiveness, but although more advanced than a ZZSE it is not as smart as the MT.
Cheers
