New ZZ's - SE?

Per the Tiny*cough* messageboard, the new Cars theme ZZ's are hitting stores. There are 2 on ebay if you want to see pics
I am definately not encouraging anyone to buy either of these from ebay, you know you'd rather hit your local store anyway.

There's also a rumor on the other board that these *might* be SE. More news as the story develops.

I just found out the closest RS is having a Store Closing, so they don't have any.

interesting...
car looks to be already assembled, plus the packaging is about half the size. the auction description says they have lights, so it might be an se, on the other hand the zipper sticker is gray whereas the se's were gold.

At least that first car (Sally) resembles something (a Porsche 911) so it should be hard to make it look like a real one. I doubt RS is going to drop ZZ's or Xmods anytime soon...

I would guess SE by the ad saying it requires 4 AAAs.
That's interesting we have new packing, I wonder if there are any changes to the cars.

The sku's for these are in sequence with the OG ZipZaps but my store should have some in tomorrow. OGs have 6 way contorls, but the 4xAAAs tells me that its either an SE, typo, or maybe they have "dwell cells"...

Well going by the add details of "six-way controller/charger", "features working headlights", and "Requires 4'AAA' batteries", I would say it sounds damn familiar..
Right in front of ya'll's eyes! It screams "
ZZMT"

there's one pic showing the two cars and tow truck on the main zz page of the radio shack site. no individual pics yet.
judging by the antennas (two were yellow and one red) i'd say these are not se's.

Well the movie hits the theaters next month so these will probably hit the shelves in a couple weeks......

I've seen them at the local RS.
They are NOT SE.
Just got one (Porshe looking thing) it is a regular zip zap. it does take 4 AAA batts. it goes for $20.

I don't know about you guys, but IMO the first pic definately needs to be body-off
What I don't get is in those pics the chassis looks like the front is se......
Anxiously waiting to see without spending $20......

i didn't get a chance to take pics (will doo soon).
The first look reveiled it is more like MT. It has motorized steering (not propo) runs on 2.4v and slightly larger now. It has lights, but front only
(same plug as the rest of them). Spring front suspention.
