What were the absolute "Worst" Micro RC's

General discussions, new info, and all stuff that's how you say, off the hook. Bit, ZZ, SE, MT, SS... as long as it's micro, it's here.

What were the absolute "Worst" Micro RC's

Post by DarkTari »

I gotta say the Bensu! They had more unique body styles than Bits but
they sucked when it came to everything else !!! :o

Agreed on the Bensu... I also had one labeled "Thor" that was just as shitty, and I believe it was just a re-labeled Bensu... the "Cannonball" Bensus weren't too too bad, but parts weren't compatible with other bits/clones... what really made those ones worthwhile, though, was the cool little stand alone charger...

Also, there are clones by a company called Sen Fa that 219 and myself bought a bunch of on eBay that were pretty shoddy...

But the all time worst, IMO, were the Motorworks trucks with the die-cast bodies that came in a set with the micro boats... I had high hopes for this thing, it was dual celled out of the box, and with the heavy body removed it was an absolute rocket... a rocket that never went straight, no matter how I configured the steering magnets, tweaked the centering spring, whatever else I tried, it had a mean left hook that I could not fix...

I still have the remains of it in a baggie in my bit box, someday I'd like to try to stuff the pcb and cells into a ZZ chassis or something...

Really? Damn, i liked mine, maybe i got lucky.

I've never really had a really bad experience with a bit.

My worst experience is those Nkok Trucks, they look good, and are hella fast but the turning sucks arse. Could never get it to run right.

I agree BENSU were the worst for me. Although BIT helmets get the silliest idea award.

The worse I had was a Fit Racer. The company wouldn't even replace it when I sent it back, they stated it was running for them. I guessed they expected everyone to push the damned thing.

The Bensu and Sen Fa bits do SUCK!

Allthough, I have a set called "The Four Diamond Kings" by Challenger-Racing. It comes with a chassis and 4 bodies. Blue, red, yellow, and white. They all tend to look like Mitsu Evo's.

The front of the controller is like a MS, but you insert the car into the back of the TX under a little bubble that pops open, to charge it. A little bit cocoon.

Other than the TX setup, the cars suck! Crappy tires, crappy chassis, but decent bodies.

Here is a link to one for sale on Ebay....

I never had a Fit-Racer, or a Bensu.
But yes, those Sen-Fa bits totally suck.

I bought a set of four, all different frequencies, on E-bay.
They came with extra motors and tires, too.
Somewhere around $20.00. I think you got the same deal SG219?
Anyway, suck. All of 'em. From controller problems to flat out non-runners.....
And NOT because of the batteries, those of course were shot as well.
Tires are loose, axles bent, on and on and on.

The names of the Sen-Fa brand bodies are hilarious though.
Flygoon.
