So I was at a local market , and a guy had a load of those awfull whirly doo stunt cars and such , kept on looking and these caught my eye.

Little offroad looking , bit sized cars.
But what I noticed even more , was the label that said shen qi wei :???:
Now usually , we never get anything more than fitracer's , so he had a total of 3 of these on the stall. I took the lot.

He wanted about $9.50US for them each , and I wasnt willing to shell out almost $30USD for 3 cars that i wasnt sure about. So I haggled , and haggled , and haggled so much he gave in , I Got the lot (all 3) for t $18USD

So onto the pics

The other two (mitsy pajero , and other orange one) are staying NIB for now.

They are only 2wd , I was kinda dissapointed actually , got all my hopes up , seem pretty high geared and are pretty slow (2.0 slow). The tires are nice and soft though , but magnet steering also dissapointed me. There's 2 cells under there , and i'm convinsed there's some kind of limiter.

So , anyone seen these before ? I recognise the controller , but not the actual cars.

So I better see about a better motor in one , and a 3rd cell/lipo could be fun too. :-o

Cool shit!! :-o

I never saw those before.

I know you will, but be sure to let us know how they handle and what the internals look like.

Oh I will.

So far ? They are way too high geared , but once they get up to speed they are pretty cool.

The bumpers at the front have headlights that are a pretty cool feature , the controller is a little wierd though.

Handling - So far , I havent flipped it , at all. I'm dying to tri-cell this thing and run a 4.2NX motor

I'll take some shots of the internals later on today , and i'll get a nice review together aswell. :-o

i've seen those before. they are indeed shens, the one i had came with a goofy pistol grip tx and a desert camo h1 humvee body.

looks like they've gone with the traditional tx with this version but the chassis looks the same to me. sounds like it drives the same as the one i had too.

Based off the wheels, and from what I can see of the sway bar and rearend, those look just like the Nikkos that we had here. Pretty good car, but not at all compatable with bits.

Bingo just what I was thinking they were not much for moding cause you could not do much with them. :???:

This chassis had an SE cell stuffed in there, and a flipped Motorworks pcb(only because the stock pcb crapped out)... it was a little bad-ass, quick as hell... it disappeared over a year ago, never to be heard from since

It was my "carpet" micro...

Sorry Bird I spoke to soon I should have clarified that.

I still have mine but the body was not a good modding platform I have the jeep and could not get it to work on any other RC even the ZZMT. Like CD said they were not bit compatible and I was agreeing with that. They are cool little runners on their own but not interchangeable friendly!

Course the deck of cards themed controller is 1000X better than the joystick one that I got /w my jeep from KB toys. That thing was just straight dumb IMO.

Hell yeah, that went straight in the trash. A Zip Zap or Super Slick controller worked just fine.

Shit , but they make a nice carpet driver.

I threw in a 2.8 clone motor , and had a little more punch , nothing spectacular though. :-?
