I've been searching around the forum but I havn't seen any lambo doors, any one tried this? And yeah I realize the interior would leave a little to be desired.

Aren't those more like gullwing doors? I don't think I've ever seen lambo doors on a bit. Lambo doors open out, then twist up. That's tricky because it pivots on 2 axis.

Yea, those are gullwing doors. The Lambo's doors are a hybrid of the gullwing.
Lamborghini uses a design which is a hybrid of the conventional and gull-wing design which is generally referred to as a "scissor", "jack-knife" in which the door is still hinged at the front but swings upward from the car while staying parallel with the edge.

Like Cabo said, "Lambo" doors are Scissor doors, they just go straight up.

Doors that twist out at the bottom and go up are "Batwing doors"

The Gullwings are cool too, so I guess I'll have to break new ground. Ok more likley-break a prefectly good bit. let you know if it works.

:???: ..tiny little airbags to raise and lower it would be my ultimate fantasy mod but if I try that and the doors there may be no room left for the internals. but.... :???:

I would think the best way to pull it off on a bit would be some kind of dampened hinge, or to have it spring-loaded and held closed with a latch.

A magnet would be a good latch.

Or maybe a van or suv, and with the extra room an old zap se steering servo and second board (diff frequency of course) to push pull the doors open and closed. Digital Proportinal doors!

fake lambo doors are tricky. REAL lamborghini doors open directly up, they don't pop out or anything.

so in a way your right, the "lambo" doors your describing would be tricky.
