I can't find the thread

I remember that someone had a thread showing a foil covered lipo battery that fit in the Zap chassis, but I cant find it no matter how I try to search. I've found a similar battery online but it's 3.4 volts, if I remember right the Zap SE has a limiter on the pcb to limit input to 2.4 volts. So it should work I think...I dont know how well the limiting function works so I thought I'd ask. First, does anyone remember the battery thread? Second, will a 3.4 volt (It didn't list amperage...arrgh!) cook the electronics?
And while I'm asking questions I should be able to find in a search but can't, if I splice into the wires leading to the motor, can I power two motors at once? Would splitting the current between two motors just end up making the same amount of torque anyway? Thanks.

There is a DC to DC voltage converter on the PCB, but if I remember right that was actually bumping it up to 5v. I'm guessing 3.4v should work.
Its my understanding that the guys that were running lipos in their SEs were doing so, because they were running Iwaver PCBs, and needed more voltage to power them.

I'll see if I can find it, but here is thread with a vid of Ph2t's lipo powered ZZMT.

A thread talking about some mods.

Thats the best I can come up with right now.
Hit up Ph2t with a PM and ask him. I'm pretty sure he is the one that did what your talking about.
I bought 2 tiny lipos from him that I still have sitting somewhere. You could have them, if I can find them, if you like.

i did a zzse with a lipo but as crazydave mentioned i needed the voltage and compact size to power a mr02 pcb.

the battery i used in that one was a 80mah etec lipo.

Thanks guys, I think I need to get that basic electronics book in the second link SG posted. But until then its good to have people around willing to share the knowlege.
There are two reasons I'm thinking of bumping up the battery size. First, I'm useing a Zap SE as a doner for the EOTY contest and The battery is dead (Just to make sure it was the battery I hooked up a battery out of another car and everything still worked great, so it is the battery).
The second reason is This is going to be a bit heavier (so it’ll be geared lower to compensate) and I figured with the added strain on the motor I could use the extra reserve in the battery to increase run times.
Oh yeah, and sg219, if you can find those batteries I'd love to get them, that's really cool of you to offer. Just PM me if you see them, thanks.
