Its a Zip Zap "Herbie" VW body thats been modified you will have to make the body if you want that same type.

Don't Ibjamn fool you with his pics on the thread...he made it look like an easy conversion but I tripple guarantee you it wasn't an easy build. You can learn alot from following the thread and a couple other build-ups. Ib's music wire suspension was inspired.

Naw, the first step was really easy. You just take the herbie body and use the wrong stuff to try to strip the paint. :-o

Then, you try to put Humpty Dumpty back together again.

thanks for the help guys, that thread is just what I need. Now I need to hunt down some herbie bodies.

Ibjamn - nice work there! I plan on making mine look like the vintage tamiya baja bug.

Thats what this place is for "inspiration" you take some great modders and when the new guys come on board they copy and idea they like and before you know it they are making ubber cool cars of there own!

That VW is a one hot Bug and a good choice to copy! :-o
