Well i was up at walmart today, and i was walking around the toy section to see what crappy motor works they had and something cought my eye. a big NOS bottle
Image
and i was like cool as i got closer i realized it was a nice looking car.
Image
i was like this thing is awsome, real 1/64 scale car with full functions and a turbo.
Image
on top is a microsizer pro, in the middle is the new rc car i got "a mitsubishi eclipse", and on the bottem is a diecast 1/64 scale mitsubishi eclipse.
Image
the car is a little less tall than a MS, but its a bit longer than one also.
Image
this is the whole package, is has a detachable controller which is small. and the charger is inside the NOS bottle.
Image
the bottem has a nice little tweeking lever, and fat rear tires and skinny front tires.
Image
when i open it up by removing one screw in the back. i see it has very wierd main board with the batteries in the middle of the board.
Image
the chassi fully used up by items within, not much room within. and yes i also got some beef jerky :-D
Image
id you look closely it looks like it has two batteries. when i looked at the batteries it looks like they are set up in a series. not peralel, "ps i cant spell.
Image
one thing that sucks is that it has a soldered on motor, but the motor seems pretty fast ill make a review of it later.
Image
one last thing is that the is the most fucking small controller i have ever seen.

i saw the 1/35th versions of those at toysrus the other day ago. they look a lot nicer than the little ones.

I was trying to decide if I wanted one of these or not, and decided that I do, but my Walmart doesn't have any. I was pretty mad, but I'm over it now.

ok ill make a quick review of it.
well for starters the asking price is $18. a bit high but its worth it.
ok the body is nicely painted with nos logos and other brands, one thing that i dislike about the paint job is here and there, there are little bad spots.
onto the motor. its pretty fast faster than my MS pro. i think that is because its a dual cell. the battery life is about 8 minutes its not accurate because i used crappy charger batteries because it takes x6 AAA batteries. 3 for controller 3 for charger. it has a turbo button but the bad thing is that the turbo does not work in reverse.
ok now onto the drive line. the tires are kinda hard so that makes the traction suffer. well it does nice on velvet pool table :). i have no idea on the gearing i dont want to open the gear box up. the whole motor and gears are on a little box, held together with 4 screws. the motor is soldered in with two wires .the steering is ok it works just fine. it does not have the steering radious of a microsizer, but it can do the job. i needs one thing modded to it, weight added to the back so it does not jump around when you throttle it up.
all in all its a great buy. you can do so many body mods to it since its true 1/64 scale. not much room for anything else.
i give it a 3/5
quickoverview,
good: fast, dual cell, true 1/64, nice paintjob, good run time.
bad: soldered in motor, not so good handleing, $17.

well the 5$ clones at biglots are totally kick ass and easy to mod and they are five bucks!! these are 18 and take tons of batteries and have whack tires. they do have a nice pcb and the buttons on the controller rule. i dont think they are worht 18.

toysrus had the 1/35th scale version of these for 15 and they look much nicer.

my take on them, dont buy them unless you want to mod them, check out the tinyrc thread in the zipzaps forum called new micro and improved motorworks.
