Wow, now those are some impressive rigs. Tough act to follow. Did you do any mechanical/electrical mods out of curiosity?

It depends on what you need to do with it. Do you want to crawl it or race it. It sounds like you are going for speed so probably not. I don't mean to over simplify, but there isn't much to these little guys. :-o

Then you won't really need it to articulate. Keep in mind that it is 2 wheel drive, so it's just going to be for playing around in the dirt and the like. If you really want a 4 wheeler then I would suggest a ZipZaps Monster Truck. So again, just a dual cell and you should be fine.

"Offroad but not a crawler."
With these, you're looking at more of a 'Pre-runner' setup than say a 'Trail Truck' and definately NOT a 'Crawler'.

With that plan, I'd think you'd want to go with a Dual Cell, and pretty much just follow along with the Dirty Bit tutorial.

Also, check out the other sections of the site. In the upper right there's the "home" "galleries" and "forums" buttons. The tutorials section just might help you out. Who knows?

This actually had me motivated enough to go to Walgreens and buy one of the trucks. I've been to all four (that are within 50 miles) at least three times each. All they seem to be stocking are the cars :-( Oh well, eventually they'll get more, at least that's what the asst. manager said... but then he's an asst manaer at a walgreens...he may not be that informed.

Not sure if they still have them, but I'd hit a Menards if you have one local. I picked up a Camo wagon and a Flamed truck at one of mine a while back.
