it sucked before but with the duel cell it rips through dirt like a motha!!!

3. Nice placement for the battery, I think I might do something like that with mine.

You can dual cell these pretty easy like that, or if you move the charge port up you can do a tri-cell.

You can get a better breakover angle if you trim the front steeringbox braces and remove the lug the packing screw went into. Neither mod hurts the chassis strenght.

Frizzen, do you mean the little supports near the middle of the chassis, closest to the area where the screw was or the front of the car?

ZipperZack, what do you use to charge your new dual cell?

i modified a zzmt controller to charge it that controller also charges big black. i put a transformer zz motor in it way more torque and a little bit faster.

Tricells are just under the limit of what a Bit will take, I haven't tried it on one of these, a FET mod would probably get you more anyway. However, moving the charge port out of the tub lets you drop the 2nd cell for a little lower CG. Blah blah blah...

Nope, I've run 4 cells with no problem. 9 volts will smoke a board. Keep it under 6v and you should have no problem.

Yes, they are Micro Rc's. They are kind of clones of ZipZap Monster Trucks. They are 2wd. They have the same style controller as bit-clones.

I don't know (and kinda doubt) that you guys have a Big 5 Sporting Goods store up there. It's an atheltic equipment store here. That is where they are being sold (the only place I know of). They were on sale until the 6th of July for $6, but are now back to regular price, $15, I'm assuming.

The only online source I know of the Micro's is Big5's site. The only thing they post on the site is the weeks sales ad. The ad is no longer on their site.

P.S. Again, don't know if you guys have them up there, but the store "Walgreens" has been reported as having them on occasion.

Yea i googled walgreens that was all the die casts

well i check around. I think these would be simple to mod
