yo i made a stand alone charger it has an output of 5.5V do u
think itll fry my zz?

im making another one where the output can be controlled


how much V is safe for a ZZ?

5v is the max 4 a zz

you could wire it to an lm7805 regulator ic to bring the voltage to 5 volts
you can get them at radioshack for about a buck.
