Not sure if this is exactly what you are after but this is what happens in the Xmod to the Xmod kit.
Pin 1 is closest to the front of the xmod vehicle.
PIN REMOTE OFF REMOTE ON FORWARD REVERSE BRAKING
1 - 185mV - 1.3V - 3.9V - 3.9V - 3.7V
2 - 185mV - 1.3V - 1.3V - 1.3V - 3.7V
3 - 6V - 6V - 6V - 6V - 6V
4 - ground - ground - ground - ground - ground
Brown, Red, Orange, Yellow

thanks cj, big help!
i've got it so it lights up now, no logic function just permanently on (when the switch is on). but this is what i wanted. so what i did was remove the 4 wires from the (lights) pcb and wired it up like dis:
brown = fl (or bl)
red = bl (or fl, these 2 wires can go on either)
yellow = ground
orange = vcc
there's no overheating of components so this is my poor man's xmod lightset. thanks for the help

ok the wires on the fucking car(attached to the pins) coordinate to the colors on the light kit.
so if you are lookin at the driver's side(not the gay australian driver's side) it would be brown red orange yellow(biatch).
uhh ya these are crappy but should shed some light hoe ass.

the only components appear to be two ceramic caps and little black box things with 3 pins. the caps are labelled 104M and the black thingies are labelled C2458 y .31. and two resistors(?) red black red gold.
