Stand Alone Charger. . . I can't belive it works!!

Mostly dealing with electronics and pcbs and modifying them, all the things that make electrical-engineers tick and the rest of us cringe in fear.

Inspired by the Stand Alone Chargers previously displayed by other Pimps. . . My own mediocre attempt for ZZSe.

First we steal a PCB and Charging terminal from a Tx that won't transmit. I had a couple of these laying around.

Then we "trim the fat" some.

We add a "N" sized adapter plug.

Stuff the poorly soldered mess into a project box from Cell Phone Shack.

Screw the top down and . . .

Be amazed that I actually did it right. ;-)

Pretty cool, :-o I never had the energy or motivation to actually build one. :-(

Awesome.... You'll save a ton on batteries. I always hated the whole charge the battery with, err, uh, another battery concept.
