ahh the famous black tape makes another appearance. :)
what's the tape for in the first pic - just so you don't end up getting glue on your gear?
nice mr. wizard laboratory you got going on there too - you taking readings on everything from everywhere with all those dials, knobs, meters... and a phonograph? lol
and for cryin out loud, clean those nails!

j/k man - you know I love your pictures - I put up on my fridge. :)

ya tape wedged in there to keep glue from gettin in gears. the key to that mod is to completly cover the axle in epoxy. i did this to my gt-r a few days ago and lubed it when it started to run freely. now it accelerates insanly fast and runs sooooooper quiet. 4,200 wheel rpms. the crazy looking grey box thing with the lamp on it is a strobe tachometer.

r-spec motor in a single cell car without the tricked out rear end mod only got 2,800 rpms. the motor in there got 2,200 or 2,300 without the extra bat and smooth rear.

ya it started out as just a fix for a slipping axle holder. i did it to my buddies car because he liked how nice mine turned out. his wasnt even stripped. im gona have to do this to another bit.

this mod is removable as well. you would have to re-do it again tho.

I hear that. These lil diecasts I got are dual celled. they kinda have to be since there exactly like a hotwheels but with a motor. Kinda heavy for single cell.

don't have a scale for grams but when you hold a hotwheels in one hand and my BIT in the other they weight about the same. Maybe a little lighter on the BIT side.

was trying to think of ways to mod it to lighten the load but theres 0 clearence inside so I can't lower it at all. I was gonna send my bodies to (custombitbodies) but its like 16$ shipping each way. Christ I can buy to Tomy bits from Japan for about the same price.
