Im not sure exactly how it works but does the "pot" adjuster on a car have the ability to "tune" in a different frequency?? I.E. Can i take a 27mhz car and "tune" it so a 45mhz controller will operate it? Or is it just slight dialing in of the original frequency?

Yeah i already saw that , but that appeared to be for just adding range ( tuning in ), i wanted to know if you could effectively change the frequency of the car with the "pot".

yeah you can change the frequency, i've succesfully changed a 49 to a 45 but it might be harder to change it more i dont know how the 27 to 45 will be but it should be possible

The inductance of the coil will not vary enough to allow such a great shift in freq from it's original to a new freq, That's why "POT" tuning is only effective on close adjacent freq's.............
