heres an excerpt.
Dr. Minteer and her colleagues are focusing on small-scale applications, with the preliminary fuel cells being no bigger than five square centimeters -- about the size of a postage stamp. "We've tested probably 30 to 50 of the ethanol cells," she said. They have successfully run their cells with vodka, gin, white wine, and flat beer ("The fuel cell didn't like the carbonation," according to Dr. Minteer).

ok, I'm going to have to reveal this little fact.
You know back in the day, when they just came out with those clocks that ran off the acids or something in fruits?
basically, it was two cups with a clock in the middle, wires came from the clock to the cups, where in those cups you were to put apples, oranges, etc. stick the wires in and the clock worked.
so... our brilliant idea... "does it run on piss?"
yup, sure does, two cups filled with nice warm piss, a few wires and we've got ourselves a working clock!
so... in theory, yea, piss is a possible source of energy.

i live in pittsburgh.
you wouldnt believe how many little hillbilly breweries are around here. most of them produce halfway decent to pretty good beer for dirt cheap.
even the local water supply "iron city beer" isnt that bad. we still end up getting grolsch or something tho. hehe.
