well i got ph2t's biff turbo in the mail today. and well install was a piece of cake. i intentionally hooked it up to a single cell to see what all the fet hype was really about and well damn dude. wheelies on my kitchen floor from a single cell with stock zz gears. the board is really tiny and well made considering the creator was a drunk criminal from a third world country.
no boomerangs were in the package but bruce did slip in a 1.0 version of the woah nelly that i havnt fucked with yet but it looks like it was put together pretty damn well.
ill report back when i put these electronics in a better chassis.

I have to put a good word in on these little bad-asses too. I picked up two.
I put one in a monster bit that betty-k modded with his suspension kit. I dropped two 1/3aaa's in to give it just a liittle more power. Now this car rocks. It's got great handling and is fast as hell.
I have to give the biff a 10 out of 10 for performance. It is faster than a regular fet mod. It's perfect on betty-k's monster.
I have to put in a side note though. So far I've tested this in a single cell, duall cell, quad cell and a car with a lil-poly batt. The quad cell and the li-poly cell seemed to make it hot, so I stopped using it in those two because I didn't want to fry the the biff. Transistors normally run warm, but this was borderline fry with just a few seconds of pushing the go button.

yeah, a quad cell and above you're prolly pushing it's limits.
I had to stack fets to pull off a quad.
ph2t.

ya i reallly dig this shit in a dual cell. any more power and the thing wouldnt be very drivable. right now it handles fairly well and accelerates like a motherfuck.

these liddle babies can take quite alot! i've been running 2 in my camera tank for about 2 - 3 months now. and they get warm but they're yet to blow. so the setup is;
4 x aa nimh (4.8v)
2 x biffs (one per motor)
2 x 70 - 90 turn tamiya 130 sized motors (mini z and xmod size)

They are called a BIFF, and they are/were made by ph2t.
