Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

prep your stuff, primer out of the way, etc., etc.
I'm assuming you're using spray cans...
paint your "dark" black first (isn't "light" black called "grey"? lol)
let it dry - blah blah blah (I'm assuming you've read on the boards here or know the basics of painting)
now get your light blue - get the car ready, get the can ready...
you're going to spray from 1 end of the car only, depending on if you want it fade from light (front) to dark (rear) or dark (front) to light (rear).
you're going to spray at a slight downward angle to the top of the car.
practice makes perfect man - good luck!

I also would suggest "testing" on something other than the body you just spent several hours prepping. Like some beat-up Hot Wheel car or other cheap toy car. Hell, you could practice on the plastic that the body came in. You just don't want to be learning about the spray pattern and flow on the real body.
