Custom painted flamed bettle

Post by biohazard »

Here is my custom flamed beetle. It was put on a modified chassis to give it that lowrider effect. The flames were created by cutting them out then spraying over them. This is the same way that CrazyDave had made his flames on his cars. I will be selling this body to make way for my xmods, so look for it in the sale section.

You are truly an artist, Biohazard. Getting flames to flow right is a very tricky subject, and you are a master of it.

Cool, you used my technique. I'm surprised more people haven't tried, but I gotta say, I have trouble getting my flames that small. Oh yeah, sure, I can easily draw them that small, but then they get hard to cut out. I'm using some thick ass 3M automotive masking tape. I know I need something better. What are you using to mask with?

Hey Cornmeal, welcome to the forums. Kick back, hang out, and have good time. :-)

He said he used my technique to do the flames, so here's the tutorial on that.

Browse around a bit, I think you'll find most of your questions already answered. 8-)

Wow....those are really clean pimp. I like the flow of it. I have seen a lot of flame jobs and that one would have to be right up there with CD's flamed whips
