Farmers Market Jaw Dropper
Well I finally did it. It's been what seems forever but I finished modding one of Jmays' Killer custom shells. I knew I would have to step it up to make this Berkenstock Beauty shine.
1st off I needed to smooth the sucker out. Jmays did a great job casting it, but even after hours of sanding and putty you can still see some ruff edges. That's allright, with the naked eye this puppy looks flawless, it's only the macro shots that bring it out.
I also really wanted to get wheels that fit this rig. This was quite the obsitcle. Jmays was a VW freek so it's no supprise he had some dicasts he could rob laying around the pad. For me I finally found a dicast that had the look I was going for.
One thing that this truck was sorly missing was windows, but I didn't want to just slap some plastic on this thing, I like it real! So I put in the front windshield, but for the side windows I left the standard windows "down" and the tiny windows I had "open" so they are at an anglle just like they would in the real ride.
On this note one thing that I am really proud of is the rear window. I was just going to add two small peices of plastic to mimic a double pained slider. My wife told me to get some balls and put a grove in the bottom and top of the window sill so that they actually slid. Man did that work out well.
Finally I looked at her and somthing just wasn't right. She needed an interior. Luckaly due to my obsession w/ Dicast wheels I have quite the surplus of interiors and picked out the perfect set.
The paint it Orange and off white and check out the blinging pleather middle stipe on the front seats. Finished her off w/ a guitar sting antenna and there ya go.
Much thanks to Jmays for his work on this shell. On to the pics.

Yes I used the stock tires. This isn't a tear up the track truck, it's a pick up hairly legged chicks truck.

Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.
