My First Time Flaming
Here's my first flame job.
I used liquid mask and painted completely backwards, starting with white first, moving to yellow, red, then the metallic blue.
I like how it turned out, the flames look more realistic.
As always, pictures never quite seem to do the ride justice, but here's the new hotness:

Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

You stole my shizzle biznatch! I came home tonight and was thinking of things to do to the purple truck. I got a brilliant Idea to take the foil from my smoke pack and burn off the white paper and stick it to the windows like gold leaf. DAMN YOU.
Anyways heres my attempt at gold leaf stylee winders

That's pretty cool. I like the way the front end looks, and I've got to get me one of those bBs. I'm digging on these pickup conversions I'm seeing. Nice touch with the side rails.
From what you said it sounds like you laid the paint in the right order. You want to start with the lighter colors first, and then work your way up to the darker colors. Alot of paints are semi-transparent, so you want to plan how colors will look on top of each other.

thanks guys
yea that metallic blue turned out really dark on top of the red, almost deep purplish.
I was going for more of the "on fire" flames look - I'm pretty sure I can't do those smooth classic flames that are perfectly symmetrical - wish I could though cuz they sure is dope
