sessiz thanks for the picks bro! they look sawwweeet lol... i'm bitter cause the friggin shit aint in my hood yet :x

i hate to wait!

payaso-

you could always just add another battery to the zz, from what sess said the new PCB is much betta than the first!

buzz-

that's wierd that you mentioned something about "reversing the steering wires", when I id my swap I actually had to reverse the motor wires! the first time i hooked it up the forward and reverse we're swapped, then it dawned on me that i remembered the need to swap the position on those wires.

I like my Camaro stock. That is a first for a Zip Zap. See this thread over at Tiny RC:

Well that's funny, you guys are complaining they're not in your hood, and I'm over here bitching that I ordered it, and they're my corner rat shack.

Dammit, that sucks.

On a side note, watched one of these go for $20 bucks on ebay the other day. There are also a bunch of 2fast 2Furious tuner sets going for $30-50. I don't get it.

I used to hang out with this guy in high school, and his pop was the county clerk, so when we would get in some trouble with the LAW, he'd always get off, while the rest of us went to the clink...lol

I got my bodies last night, and after seeing them in person I have to say, I thought the Dodge looked nicer in pictures, but in person I love the Camaro. Of coarse I'm biased because a '69 Camaro is probably my second favorite car, next to a '63 'Vette.

It even has the 427 logos on it, but they are so small that I thought the one on the back was a scratch at first, then I realized, hey that's the 427 logo. You know the 427 is nicknamed "The Rat"

Blue is my favorite color too.

Yep, I think I'm love.

I just picked up mine last night too... it was like a sixth sense thing! I was checking out RS online and saw that they had the body set in stock, so i added to my cart then got to think (hate when that happens... except for this one occasion lol), I wanted to pick up the tuner kit at the same time. So in a last ditch effort i called the RS up the road from work and reluctantly asked if they had recieved the new goods yet, and in fact they had!
I was so excited i couldn't wait an to go after work, which was an hour away, so i jumped in my car and headed up the road. I arrived at the destination and went to the counter where they should be, looked around and saw no sign of any of the 2f2f sets or bodies! I was like WTF, and told one of the guys there that i just called not 5 min. before asking about the stuff, and he says "oh yeah we just got the delivery like a half an hour before you called, and haven't had a chance to un-pack them yet".
I was like whoa, that's wierd (insert twilight zone theme song) it was like a little bell went off in my head and told me, after waiting and stalking my local RS's, i could endulge in a little ZZ goodness.

So in closing this long and drawn out story, I got the sets and am totally stoked about them! They look great! And

Microsizer vs. Zip Zap

Post by lovedoctor »

Hey all,

new to micro RC :-) ...can I get a comparison between Microsizer and Zip Zap PCBs? What are the pros and cons of each. :???:

Props to the bigguns,

well the first zipzaps pcbs limited power to the motor but the new ones deliver plenty o juice. ms pcbs come in two varieties. normal and "turbo blaster". both deliver tons of juice.

the major problem with ms pcbs is they have very crappy reception.
zipzaps have so so reception and the cheap ass clones tend to have better reception so i usually put those in my ms chassii(is that plural for chasis?).

Thanks, jowls. I started out trying the MS, but the steering is buggin'

Right turns is way tighter than left turns...know what I'm sayin'? :-(

ZZs handle much better...and since I'm usin' a RX-8 PCB, I got's more juice than I needs.

Too bad there ain't more body choices for the ZZs. I like the longer wheel base. :driving:

Not to mention better tires on the ZZs.

But fo sure, the Bit Char-G mods you guys have done are mad fly.
