The OG Vette needs a pimp to lay down the Miva tm rear wheel well mod that he did back in the day. IMO even after this negative review (which honestly I expected after the months of anticipation) I'll buy a set. Like I said before, how much fun is a shell if there isn't anything to chop and fix? Bottom line, before Thanksgiving I expect to see some naughty Vettes in Flossin.

Alright, here's the '63 on a tube-stretched™ Thunder Charger chassis...
like this one, only not this one, 'cuz PieOsso has this one...

It's shaved just a bit to make way for the Motorworks hi-wall™ tires.
Tab-lowered and a full-sized K.I.T. Racer wheel mod. I'll floss the
mutha up when it gets a paint job... just a couple of pics for now...

I don't know... I like the shit outta this body. All things considered, I think RS did pretty damn good.

Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

Crap Hue, that looks killer, I love those fat ass tires, but that just goes to show just how fat ass the tires have to be to fill that wheel well.
Here was my mock up with 11mm alloys in the back to fill the space, but I prefer the idea of more tire as opposed to more wheel. Maybe it would look better if the back was lower.

Thanks y'all... I've really been looking forward to a Corvette body to do up.
I'm leaning toward either Daytona blue (really dark slightly-greenish blue), or more of a custom-mixed hot rod paint job (like tangerine pearl with cream-to-gold flames). I'm already building another one to leave just like the one in the pics above, but this one has a scratch in the paint, so it'll get some kind of paint job... probably flames.
I've been all over the place with paint options...exterior colors for the 1963 Corvette were: Daytona Blue, Ermine White, Saddle Tan, Sebring Silver, Silver Blue, Tuxedo Black, Riverside Red.Sdog wrote:What kind of paint are you considering?

- RadioShack is like a blindfolded, 400lbs. Gorilla with a bat.
- The ZipZaps line is like pitching balls
When that Gorilla misses, it WHIFFS hard. But when it hits, it's outta the damned ballpark.
...It seems the Gorilla got a good swing in on these Vette bodies!
Hue, your shit is friggin georgeous. You should send the pics to RatShack, if they had 1/2 a brain they'd post em on their site.
