sweet. how do they run? i buy all kindsa cars mostly locally just for variety.
brands ive goten are
zipzaps
super racing(a few different batches)
thor/thunderbolt
microsizers
thunder chargers
cyclon-a
z cars
some really generic brand from burlington coat factory(good tho)
key rc
and the 4x4 that you get at toys r us
they all have endearing qualities but i recommend buying microsizers from target or toys r us. they are a few bucks more than the cheap clones but are usually better quality. also big lots has thunder charger clones for 5 bucks and they have really good motors and batteries and drive really well. zipzaps are pretty good but they are bigger and heavier than bits(and their ripoff clones) but some like them more. when i come across a new brand, its hard to not buy one.
welcome and crap and dont be afraid to ask stuff. we will make fun of you but you will eventually get the answer you are looking for.

sweet davinciraf!
I like the yellow body.
great find!
I'm like hog, I tend to buy locally, except for a few Tomy's that I've gotten from toy-island.com or off some of the users here.
Personally, I haven't had much trouble with 45 mhz - my most troublesome bits seem to be 27's, they tend to have freq. problems more.
welcome to da hood pimp!

They're Panthers.

ive never owned a panther but a lot of people say that they are pretty good.
but microsizers have superior gears and steering mechanisms over all the other clones. some are close but not quite as good. all the cars i run are frankensteined anyhow.
if you are into making them go real fast i suggest doing these mods
#1 important mod = dual cell this improves speed, torque, and steering
then you need springs for the suspension(those little plastic things are a joke) and i suggest the high rpm gear ratio(teal microsizer) axle and then putty it all up into the chassis and shorten the axle length a lil if needed so everything meshes to a nice and tight tolerance. also microsizers motors suck ass. you will also need to either modify your controller for more juice or build a stand alone charger.
all in all you can buy a car and all the parts for about 20-30 bucks. but i suggest beating on your 2$ cars to learn. thats a kick ass price btw.

Panthers are excellent. All 3 panthers I purchased were great. This is also one of the reasons their boards got swapped into my zips
Welcome and crap by the way.
