S-2000's got the blues

So as some of you may have noticed, I've been doing personal experiments on my last few paint jobs - trying to look for different design/color variations as well as trying to improve my own skills.
what I had visioned in my head is nothing like what it turned out to be.
I'm not satisfied - not totally disappointed either - it just wasn't what I had envisioned.
anyway, here she is:
- 2 level multi-colored fade
- 1st level fade = light pearl blue > metallic blue
- 2nd level fade = dark metallic blue > metallic black
what you may not notice is the dark metallic blue fading to metallic black, hard to capture with the camera, but you should be able to see the tinge of blue in a shot or two on the hood, and then the black in the other pictures on the rear of the vehicle. The pics don't do the 2nd level (dark) fade justice at all.
