Thanks pimp! It came from the new 1/43 Modifiers Deluxe Kit. The wheel mod itself was harder than normal, but worth the effort. All you do to change shoes is pull 'em off the mounted hubs, and replce with new. No extra modding. A piece of rubber keeps them from slipping.

That's cool...So you can just swap between any of those rims quickly?

Did the cool tire rack come with it?

I'm thinkin' that I have to have that.

BTW, you've gotta be the king of wheel swaps. You got a car you haven't swapped the rims?

Yes, the rims just pull off the hubs which have a rubber piece around them that hold the rims on and keep them from slipping. A 4 tire pit stop runs you about 10 seconds if you practice. heh. The rack came in the new Modifiers deluxe kit which includes 4 sets of wheels and tires. There is a storage compartment under the lid the car is sitting on. Nice little show piece. I do have a couple of chassis stock for playing around with on the table and what not with the kids. Here is a pic of the wheel mounting on the hubs.

They are rubber. It is actually pretty flexable too. There are different tread patterns too that you can switch tires betwwen wheels. There are regular and low profile tires as well.

These are on a Zip. The wheels come in different sizes called 15"-20", so it may vary whether they fit on Bits or not.
