'Super' Microsizer
We've all seen the new Super Bit Char-Gs, now here's my Super Microsizer...
Porshe 911 GT2 body, mosfet mod, Perfection 4.2 Pro, and pullback rims make this puppy one bad mofo. Bring your Super Bits on. I'm ready.
I didn't have the pullbacks out of the package more than 10 minutes, before I became really irritated with how high the Porshe body sat. So I got the hacking, and lowered that puppy.
While I was mod mode, I jumped on the pullback wheel coversion. I did the less nicer looking Countach rims first, and spray painted them silver. I was disappointed I thought the Countach pullback had Countach rims. (The 5-hole type), but they look pretty nice with this body, now that they're painted.
I love the way the pullback wheels fill out the rear wheel wells on the 911.

I got all that you got...but I don't want to copy you...
Ok...maybe I do...
I definitly want to paint my GT2 away from that bogus grey color.
the blue you used it nice..but kinda dark.
I like the pullback rims on it...but German Alloys might be better.
(same function, too fill the wheel wells.)

The Blue is the one that came on the pullback body. It is alot darker than the HLJ pictures, and it was all dull like the WRX bodies are. I was disappointed. I put a coat of car polish on it, Meguier's, makes it shine, and the water beads up on it just like a real car.
Good enough for now, but this car is getting painted.
My original plan was to put the alloys on this car, but I haven'y got mine, I'm impatient, and wanted to get it together now, so I used the pull backs.
I'll probably get my alloys today.

Wow Dave, that thing looks mean spirited. It looks SO much better lowered, and the silver makes those wheel perfect for the car. Based on the pictures I've seen up to now, I wasn't sure I liked the GT2. Now I'm sure I need one. How does it handle?
edit: I can't stop looking at that shot of the back end... that is BAD ASS!

It handle really good. It turns kinda wide because the rear end is hooking up so good, but if you tap the throttle it makes tighter turns.hue35 wrote:Wow Dave, that thing looks mean spirited. It's difficult to flip even with the mosfets, and 4.2, which combined should flip this car easily. Definately my best handleing car, for a wheelie popping beast.
...and yeah, I meant to say that the rear end looked bad ass, you took the wording out of my mouth.
My alloys showed up today. Figures, but I pretty much knew they would. It's too late for this body, I spent too much time lowering it, and I'm alomost positive 10mm rims are not going to fit under it now.
