and I got to say that the beetle looks way better with them alloys on them.

So are you masking now dude or still hand painting? 'Cuase those lines are lookin' a lot sharper than previous jobs, I'm enjoying your metamorphasis from your "technicolour S2000" days.....

Yes, Sessiz, it is made for her. She keeps telling me all the cars in my garage are mine, and none are hers.
Now its coming to completetion, I won't let her touch it. lol
VDM: yes a flower would be nice. I was going to do the Austin Powers Beetle (from the second movie).
But have you seen the detail on that car? wooo...toooo much for me.
A simple '60's power flower would be the style to use.
Cleaning out an old garage, This was my peddle car when I was a kid. My parents kept it all these years.
My dad said it came with a windsheild, working blinkers, horn, side mirrors, all sorts.
But since I love to take things apart as a kid...this is what is left.
Note: the 'power flower' on the hood!

Nice work NOX for hand painting. I to like to hand paint (no luck with spray's) but I find depending on the colour its a pain in A$$ to cover the brush strokes.

No, but really that is a really good job for being hand done. You've gotton your lines really clean.
