so after my run in with the RX-7, this guy came drivin up and was all like talkin trash, so I was all like screw you buddy and painted his arse.

Bloody slick and bloody clean. Very nice man.

Is that the original red paint? Looks a little bit more of an orange tint than the original red. Did you mask the gold as the first layer then do the red? Or do a negative mask of the gold on top of the red?

ph2t - nope, no original paint there, it's orange on top of a grey primer so it came out kinda like a burnt orange, I kinda dig on it, seems close to the color of real cars.
I sprayed the orange and then did the negative mask and sprayed the gold line.

nox - yea, all my shells get to sit on my alloy wheeled chassis at least for a minute or two lol
I got an APB out on the other cars, we'll see lol

Yep that looks nice and clean, and the colors look great too. Another great job. :grin:

You know, I would have base coated with the gold. I always base coat with gold or silver, it brings out metallic colors.
